Signs of Estrogen Dominance & What You Can Do- Naturally

One of the most common, yet severely under-diagnosed, types of hormone imbalance is estrogen dominance.

Estrogen dominance is the condition of increased estrogen levels relative to progesterone levels in the body. Typically, estrogen dominance is due to a combination of one or more of the following: chronic stress, poor gut/liver health, genetics and exposure to environmental toxins known as xenoestrogens.

Why does this matter? Studies show that upwards of 80% women suffer from hormonal imbalances-it is one of the most common hormonal endocrine disorders among women of reproductive age dominance can lead to a variety of health conditions including obesity, infertility, cancer, miscarriages, and hypothyroidism.

Eliminating excess estrogen would benefit almost EVERYONE, men, women, children, babies.

Why? Because endocrine disrupters AKA chemicals that mimic hormones which ⬆️⬇️ production of certain hormones are ALL around us- our food, water, air, toys, teethers, plastics, cosmetics. EVERYWHERE. Peep microplastics post next week 👀

When excess estrogen is unable to be eliminated, it can be reabsorbed directly into the intestines. Around and around it goes, wreaking absolute havoc on ours bodies.

This may be particularly beneficial to those with history of or family history of estrogen dominant cancers, ovarian cyst, fibroids, infertility, miscarriages, PMS and those suffering from hypothyroidism.

High estrogen is a major risk factor for breast, ovarian, endometrial and prostate cancer ❌

Curious if your estrogen dominant? There are a variety of signs and symptoms that can be suggestive of estrogen dominance in BOTH men and women. You may have one symptom or a cluster of symptoms.

Symptoms for women include:

Mood swings/irritability, infertility, worsening PMS, irregular menstrual cycles, decreased sex drive, weight gain, bloating, anxiety, panic attacks, hair loss, insomnia, fatigue, night sweats, hot flashes, mental fog, cold hands/feet, and ovarian cysts.
